THE RETREAT IS A SUCCESS!

Nineteen Maaco stores participated in the Association sponsored weekend.  Among the program events were cocktail mixers, dinners, trips to the spa, gambling, and even a trip to the Las Vegas Mob Museum.  The main goal of the weekend, getting owners together to talk and share information as well as take a break and relax, was a huge success.  The members also had access to the Association board for one on one meetings and took advantage of the Association meeting on Saturday night sharing their ideas and concerns with the group.  The ideas were flowing and talks abut the Association’s present and future carried the Association meeting from 5:30 pm through dinner and deserts before it concluded at 10 pm.  The overall message of the weekend was that we can and must work together to make the Maaco Brand great again.  From Maaco owners who have been with the franchise 22 years to the new owners with less than a year under their belts the buzz of the meeting was one of excitement and a very positive outlook on the future.

In addition to brand news and discussing the direction of the Association several owners also shared information on successes they have had improving operations with greatly reduced rates on credit card processing and payroll services.  The information on payroll processing is included in the November newsletter and the information on credit card processing will be available shortly. 

Thank you to all of the Owners who participated in the Retreat and helped to make it such a huge success!




Our Buying Co-Op (APPG) has paint!

 

Keep a look out for email updates on the latest in the Buying Co-Op’s progress. Our Buying Co-Op, APPG, has committed to us that they will offer our members the service and assistance they deserve.  Included in that offering APPG will be able to set up purchasing with account terms, credit card payment, and pre-pay COD.  Very importantly a percentage of every purchase you make will be credited back to the Association to help fund our efforts in giving our members a voice in your franchise and offering our businesses support.  APPG has also committed that they will soon be offering spray booths, compressors, and insurance services.
